Our stories highlight the journey and impacts of the youth we seek to uplift. It is shared in trust and with full permission of the individual and the hopes to inspire their peers to keep hope and stay positive in their time of uncertainty.

In December of 2024, I started to notice I was having problems going to the bathroom. I was having to get into the shower multiple times a day to pee. During this time I was seeing my regular doctors every week. As time went on it got progressively worse until May 4th, 2025 when I was hospitalized after I had not peed for almost 24 hours. 3 days later, doctors were going to send me home but my mom fought for a MRI and when they did it doctors found a softball sized mass in between my bladder and my rectum.

I immediately begun chemotherapy every 21 days, for 3 days in the hospital. I was also doing radiation 5 days a week as well. In July I contracted necrotizing fasciitis, a flesh eating disease. I immediately was sent into ICU and was starting to go septic. I had to have an emergency colostomy bag placed. Due to the flesh eating disease I was left with an open wound which still has not fully closed as of April 2026. Following this, the radiation stopped and my chemo was held until September of 2025. On November 6, 2025 I had my 12-hour tumor removal surgery in Houston.

Following the resection, I was on a ventilator and had 4 drain tubes plus a catheter. I was bed ridden for a month and had to slowly ease back into walking. I was able to go home on Christmas Eve of 2025, but had to return to Houston once a week for a month for wound vac changes. On January 10th the wound vac was removed and on January 20th 2026 I had my last round of chemotherapy. My follow up scans were on March 2, 2026 and they all came back clear and I rang the bell on April 24, 2026!

Wrestle For Joy helped me get through some of the hardest times of my life. Chris was able to brighten my day and make me feel normal again just by playing WWE 2K with me or talking wrestling with me.

As the GOAT John Cena said, “Never Give Up.” Keep fighting and keep a positive mindset. Your mind really tells your body what to do.
